| First, register as a agent. You must be a registered agent (with a username and password) to list an open house on OpenHouseWausau. Then you have the option to enter an open house. |
| What towns can I list open houses in? |
| You can list any town you want in Wausau and the surrounding area. |
| Why do you need my Realtor License number? |
| The site is for licensed Real Estate agents only. To maintain the integrity of the site, we can cross reference the license number to make sure all users are licensed. |
| How can I advertise on this site? |
| You can email us through the site by clicking on contact us or advertise with us.
We will contact you to get your information and decide on the best advertising package for your needs. You can also call us at 800-208-6320. |
| How do I use the locator map? |
| Click on the Locator Map. Enter the address in the top search bar. Move the red dot to the location of the property. The copy and paste the latitude and longitude into the appropriate boxes and hit submit. Make sure you enter them correctly, including the minus sign. |
| How far in advance can I schedule an open house? |
| As far in advance as you like. There is no limitation on posting future open house tours. |
| I scheduled an open house but now I need to change the time. How can I do that? |
| Log in using the user id that you used to enter the open house. Select 'Edit Open House Listings' and you can change the time or any other information that you want changed. |
| Do I have to enter the same listing each time I want to do an open house there? |
| No. The listing goes into a database for the user id that entered it. If you want to do another open house on the same listing, you can go into Edit my Open Houses and change the date. |
| Is OpenHouseWausau.com available to people selling their homes without a real estate agent (FSBO)? |
| No. This site is for Licensed Real Estate agents only. |
| How can I become a Featured Agent? |
| Click on Agent Registration and complete the form. Check the box for 'I want to be a Featured Agent'. We will then contact you for payemnt information. The price is $14.95 a month and we can bill it monthly or you can pay in full with check or credit card. |
| How long does the open house listing stay on the site after the open house is over? |
| The listing expires at midnight, the day of the open house. It will no longer be on the site but the listing is still in your database to edit for future open houses. |
| What is the cost to put my open houses on OpenHouseWausau.com? |
| There is no cost. This site is free for licensed agents to use. |
| When I put an open house listings on this site, how long does it take before you can see it on the site? |
| Immediately. When you enter an open house and hit submit, you can go back to the site and see your lisitng. If you need to make changes, you can then go back in and edit the listing. |
| What do I do if I forget my user name or password? |
| Send us an email with your name and we will send an email with the information to the email address we have on record. |
| The picture I have for the open house listing is really big. Do you resize it or do I have to? |
| The picture will be automatically resized when you upload it to the site. |
| Can my office enter the open houses for me or do I need to do it myself? |
| The office can enter them in or you can, it doesn't matter. However, the listings go into a database for the user id that entered them. If the office enters them and you need something changed, the office user id would need to make the change. |
| What do I do if I have a question about the site? |
| You can contact us by clicking on the 'Contact Us' tab on the top menu bar. |
| How can I get more information on a property listed for an open house? |
| Click on 'View Details' and a pop-up window opens showing additional information about that house. It also shows the listing agents phone number that you can call for additional information. |
